It fermented in used 400-litre barrels, where it matured for nine months on its full lees.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt has the complex nose of a great Alvarinho after a few years in bottle — ripe, slightly balsamic and medicinal, complex, clean and elegant, with no sign of oxidation. It has 12.5% alcohol, a pH of 3.38 and six grams of acidity. It is ready to drink but should continue to develop well in bottle. 4,000 bottles were produced.
