It comes from a small strip of clay at the centre of Lafleur\u0026#x27;s gravel-dominated vineyard and is made in very small quantities, as a distinct interpretation of the same terroir.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eIn the glass it shows a deep colour and a nose of ripe black fruit, cedar, tobacco and graphite, with fine spice that gains complexity with air. The palate is structured and elegant, with firm yet polished tannins, fresh acidity and a long, persistent finish.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eDecant one to two hours ahead and serve at 16–18 °C with roast kid, lamb chops, dry-aged beef or hard cheeses.
