This fruitier approach works very well, with earthy notes, sweet spice and a subtle touch recalling rusty iron.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOn the palate the wine keeps good tension and shows the richness typical of Nebbiolo, finishing with extra structure and very well-balanced freshness.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe wine ages for 30 months in wood, mainly in large oak casks, with some use of neutral barrels.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe grapes come from four family-owned plots in Treiso — Il Bricco, San Stefanetto and Bongiovanni — and in Alba, the Rocche di Massalupo plot.
