Quinta do Pessegueiro White 2019

Bottled in August 2020, Pessegueiro Branco 2019 is the result of a dry harvest year (2019) characterized by large fluctuations in temperature and lower than usual annual precipitation values.

Even so, the occasional rainfall during the harvest had a positive impact on the harvest, as it provided high-quality, highly aromatic musts with higher acidity than in previous years.

After being transported to the winery and spending around 12 hours in a cold chamber, the grapes were partially crushed and taken to a stainless steel tank, where skin maceration took place until fermentation began with indigenous yeasts.

Next, after pressing, they were sent to barrels where they completed the alcoholic fermentation and where they aged for 9 months with batônnage.

Straw-colored and with autumnal aromas of honey, tea and cooked pear, Pessegueiro Branco 2019 is a wine full of lemony notes on the palate, with excellent acidity, persistent and gastronomic.
