Cistus wins gold in the 40th edition of the Challenge International du Vin
On the 1st and 2nd of April 2016, the city of Bourg, France, hosted the largest and oldest French wine competition for the 40th consecutive year.
With more than 4 thousand wines in competition, from 37 different countries, the Cistus Grande Reserva Red 2009 Douro DOC and the Cistus Reserva Red 2011 Douro DOC were awarded gold medals, while the Cistus Red 2013 Douro DOC, won an honorable medal silver.
The unparalleled flavor and texture of Douro wines were not indifferent to the refined palates of the more than 700 wine professionals who make up the competition's jury.
