Prior Lucas Fénix Rosé 2021/2022

This is the history of Fénix do Prior wine:

In March 2022, he was in a restaurant complaining that he had no glass bottles to bottle his wines, as there was a serious shortage of raw materials. At this point, the girl who works at the restaurant said: “Rui, every day we put bottles in the glass jar to destroy, why don’t you reuse those bottles?”
He went home thinking about it and the next day when he woke up it clicked! He would reuse bottles and boxes from other wines and give them a new life like a Phoenix!
And so Fénix was born! This is a white wine from a single vineyard, the 'Chico Padre' vineyard, and as always, the predominant wine here is the field blend. The vineyard was planted in the 1980s in a valley with very clayey soil, although the characteristic limestone of the area is clearly visible in the central part of the vineyard.

The Fenix ​​Rosé Wine stands out for its aromas and flavors of red fruits, some vanilla and minerality. The very present acidity gives it a striking and salivating freshness that will make it shine at the table. A great rosé capable of standing up to the best that the region has to offer.
