Description

Château d'Yquem 2019 is considered an exceptional Sauternes vintage, marked by a historically high proportion of Sauvignon Blanc (45%), giving vibrant freshness and tension from youth. It's the only wine classified Premier Cru Supérieur in Bordeaux, keeping its legendary status as the wine world's "liquid gold". Lorenzo Pasquini and his team understood the vintage perfectly by favouring third pickings in the blend, fully exposed to Botrytis cinerea, bringing density and precision along with an energetic, beautifully balanced interplay of bitterness and sweetness.
