Description
Ruinart, founded in Reims in 1729, is the oldest Champagne house still operating. Its Blanc de Blancs is the house signature, made only from Chardonnay, the grape that defines the house's bright, fresh style.
Pale gold with fine bubbles. The nose is fresh, with lemon, grapefruit, pineapple, white flowers and a touch of jasmine. The palate is round and elegant, with lively acidity and a clean citrus finish.
Great as an aperitif or with oysters, sushi, scallop carpaccio or salt-baked fish. Best enjoyed within 2 to 4 years of purchase.
