Description:
Jodhpur is a premium "London Dry" gin with 40.0% alcohol, made by distilling 13 botanicals macerated with various herbs and selected grain spirits. The botanicals used are Bulgarian coriander, Saxon angelica, Belgian angelica, bitter almond, Moroccan coriander, cassia bark, juniper berries, lemon peel, orange, ginger, liquorice root and orris. The result is clear and bright, with delicate aromas and herbal, wild-berry notes. The flavour is smooth but quite long, with notes of juniper berries and herbs. A Jodhpur gin and tonic is quite different, as it takes lemon peel and cherries, but can also be made with apple slices and juniper berries. It won a gold medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition 2011.
