What it is

Description

H.M. Borges Sercial Colheita Madeira 1993 is a dry, single-vintage Madeira known for its complex aroma and concentrated flavour, with notes of iodine, orange zest and walnuts.

Tasting Notes and Characteristics

ColourColour: Pale amber with bright golden glints.

AromaNose: Complex, exuberant and ethereal, characteristic of Sercial. Notes of iodine, varnish, orange zest, walnuts, honey and toast stand out.

Palate: On the palate it's a Madeira whose dryness isn't sharp, with a

complex aromatic concentration, well-structured oak notes and a perfect balance of sweetness and acidity.

Grape and Production: Made from Sercial harvested around Jardim da Serra, on volcanic, basaltic soil. Bottled in 2022.
