Quinta do Piloto Collection Alfrocheiro 2021

Quinta do Piloto is located in the Palmela region and belongs to the Cardoso family. This is one of the oldest families in Palmela, with a connection to wines since the beginning of the last century. Humberto Cardoso was the founder of this house. Currently, it is the 4th generation that ensures and leads the company's destiny.

Quinta do Piloto COLLECTION Alfrocheiro is a limited edition selected by our winemaker and producer Filipe Cardoso. This wine was created from grapes from the Herdade de Lau vineyard, in the Carvalhos plot, which are approximately 20 years old.
Alfrocheiro is one of the oldest grape varieties in Portugal and is also the mother of many other varieties, including Castelão. With this wine, we wanted to make a fruity red, without oak, to appreciate the potential of this great Portuguese grape variety.
