For decades, the Dönnhoff winery in Oberhausen on the Nahe has produced timeless Riesling rarely found in Germany. Like the Kreuznacher Kahlenberg Riesling, whose grapes come from the 4.5 hectare VDP Erste Lage vineyard with its clayey and stony soils. Matured in large wooden and stainless steel barrels, this is a Riesling full of tension with lots of freshness, charm, elegance and spices.
