100% Tinto Cão from old vines. Grapes crushed by foot in a granite press, aged for 12 months in French oak barrels (100% of which are used). Exotic and wild aroma, with a mixture of wild berries and cherry. It is quite pronounced in the mouth. It is a smooth, fresh wine with a long finish.

The Douro, despite being a very old region, still has much to explore thanks to its large size and enormous diversity of terroirs. Quinta de La Rosa is a good example of this diversity, with vineyards ranging from around 100 m high, next to the river, in the impressive Vale do Inferno, to 500 metres high, in the Lamelas vineyard. We also have different sun exposures (east, north and south) and a great diversity of grape varieties. Always with a privileged view of the Douro River, all of the Quinta's grapes are A-grade – the best the region has to offer.
