Description
Insignia from Joseph Phelps Vineyards was one of the first proprietary Bordeaux-style blends in Napa Valley and is now one of California's most iconic reds. It is made from the estate's own vineyards.
It is a Cabernet Sauvignon-led blend. The 2021 shows cassis, blackberry, violet, spice and cocoa, with fine tannins, firm structure and a long, polished finish.
Pair with red meat, roast lamb or aged cheese. Serve at 17–18 °C.
Store the bottle lying down, away from light and vibration, at a steady 12 to 14 °C. At Vinogrande every bottle is carefully packed so it reaches you in the best condition.
