Properties of Attis Mar underwater wine A broth with Denomination of Origin Rías Baixas made by Attis Bodega y Viñedos, and which stands out for its underwater storage at a depth of 12 meters for 6 months.
It is a completely Atlantic and autochthonous Albariño, coming from vineyards over 50 years old located in the Val do Salnés Embrado. These grow in clayey soil and face the Atlantic Ocean, which means that their grapes acquire unique properties that will be reflected in Attis Mar wine.
Elaboration and aging of Attis Mar Tradition and craftsmanship mark the entire production process at Attis Mar, starting with the manual harvesting of Albariño grapes.
The alcoholic fermentation of the juice is carried out with the grape skin's own yeast, which is known as spontaneous fermentation.
Attis Mar ages for 6 months in an oak and fudre tank, during which time the wine rests next to the fine lees that remain suspended inside the barrel. A technique that is known in the winemaking world as “batonnage”. After this time, the bottled wine ages under water. It will be another 6 months under the waters of the Atlantic Ocean.
Tasting notes that highlight Attis Mar underwater wine The combination of these processes results in Attis Mar, a unique underwater wine that stands out for its very intense straw yellow color. In the mouth there is a certain acidity that combines perfectly with the fineness and freshness of the broth, given by its aging at the bottom of the sea. It also stands out for its saline touch and great aging potential.
