History and Philosophy of Production:

Since 1995, Quinta de Aguiã has focused on enhancing the value of grapes from its mid-slope vineyards, facing east, benefiting from a special terroir.
He chose to go against the trend of betting on white grape varieties and decided to invest in Vinhão, a typical red grape variety, highlighting the authenticity and recovery of the prestige of Verde Tinto.

It contributed significantly to the popularity of Vinhão, making it an emerging grape variety not only in the Vinho Verde region, but also in other wine-growing areas of Portugal.
