Prior Lucas Habemus White 2021

Rui Lucas's great-grandfather, José Francisco Prior, was a small farmer from the parish of Souselas, who cultivated vineyards and did all his business in the city of Coimbra. Over the years, the properties were divided between children and grandchildren, and the wine business was lost. Over the last decade, his father, José Prior Lucas, has been cultivating the plots that belonged to his father, producing wine that he shared at the table with family and friends. Continuing the family tradition, Rui decided to expand the sharing, producing Wine by regrouping his great-grandfather's vineyards, who in his time sold all his Wine in the bohemian taverns of the Coimbra academy. Maintain small production, not just to make a small number of bottles, but because it is a great pleasure to see each vineyard grow, to monitor each vine and the respective development of the grapes, defining and imagining the wine that will come out of each bottle. It's a wonderful process!
