Description
Quinta do Couquinho Adeodato Sousão Reserva 2019 has a deep ruby colour, showing its intensity and concentration at first glance.
AromaOn the nose, magnificent notes of ripe black fruit such as plums and blackcurrant stand out, with a light vegetal touch typical of Sousão. Barrel ageing brings subtle smoky ‘nuances’, adding complexity.
PalateOn the palate the wine is voluminous, with firm, well-structured tannins balanced by vibrant, elegant acidity. Delicate notes of chocolate and coffee emerge, in harmony with the black fruit from the nose. The persistence is remarkable, ending in a long, sophisticated finish that invites another sip.
A wine of great character and structure, intense and refined, ideal for special occasions and refined food pairings.
