Vallegre Special Reserve 2019

Originating from Quinta da Vista Alegre, Cima Corgo, vines over 80 years old, planted on old terraces with a predominantly south-facing aspect.

More than two dozen varieties mixed, all aged for 22 months in barrels. In line with previous editions, it is austere and balsamic, with a chemical aroma of Indian ink, black fruit aroma, spice, dried fruit, and good maturation. Quite full-bodied, with grainy tannins, great thickness, dark chocolate, and a promising future.

Consumption: Red meat, game, and strong cheeses. Should be served at a temperature between 14º and 16º C. Wine with high aging potential, can be consumed for the next 8-10 years.
