Gold Medal “VINALIES INTERNATIONALES 2017 – OENOLOGUES DE FRANCE” (February 2017/France)

Vinification according to the traditional Port Wine method. After gentle crushing with partial stemming, alcoholic fermentation with skin maceration follows. Fermentation takes place under controlled temperature and is stopped by the addition of wine spirit. The entire winemaking process, which is monitored by the oenology team, takes into account the grape varieties, their degree of maturation and the desired sweetness.

Aging: Lot from wines of a unique style and different years, aged in oak barrels, with an average age of 4/5 years.
