The NV A.R. Lenoble Rosé is a blend of 88% Chardonnay from Chouilly Grand Cru and 12% Pinot Noir from Bisseuil 1er Cru, based mainly on the 2012 vintage, with 28% reserve wines, aged for five years before release. Partly aged in oak (20%), this rosé has a unique colour between vibrant apricot, onion skin and gold. The bouquet is extremely refined and ethereal in its fruit aromas. Pure, fine and subtle on the palate, it's a dry, fresh, elegant, well-structured and mineral rosé, showing plenty of Chardonnay finesse and grace and the persistent finish of a delicate Pinot Noir. Tasted in April 2018.
