Description

Quinta do Piloto is in the Palmela region and belongs to the Cardoso family, one of Palmela's oldest families, linked to wine since the start of the last century. Humberto Cardoso founded the house, and today the 4th generation runs the company.

Quinta do Piloto COLLECTION Alfrocheiro is a limited edition selected by our winemaker and producer Filipe Cardoso. It's made from grapes from the Herdade de Lau vineyard, in the Carvalhos plot, around 20 years old.
Alfrocheiro is one of Portugal's oldest grapes, and the parent of many others, including Castelão. With this wine we wanted to make a fruity, unoaked red to show off the potential of this great Portuguese grape.
