Attis Nana 2021

Nana is a white wine produced by the Attis Bodegas y Viñedo winery in Dena, DOrías Baixas .

Attis Bodegas y Viñedos is a family winery located in the center of Val de Salnes , a small village located on the slopes of Mount Penaguda, in front of the Arousa and Pontevedra rias.

Right next to the house where they made the first wines in a traditional way, they built this winery fully integrated into the surroundings. Here, they vinified their first harvest in 2012.

Attis Bodegas y Viñedos owns and cultivates 5 hectares of vineyards divided into small plots located between 100 and 400 meters above sea level. The soils are sandy loam and have a lot of stones, and the climate has an Atlantic influence, with mild temperatures and intense, well-distributed rainfall. In summer, however, rainfall levels tend to decrease.

Its wines respect and honestly highlight the grape variety, bringing together all its characteristics such as its acidity, minerality and fruitiness.

Nana is a wine made from Alvarinho, from the family's oldest vineyard, over 40 years old. It is planted in granite soils with sandy-clay characteristics. The vineyard is entirely organic.

The grapes are harvested manually and placed in 15 kg boxes, with manual selection of the grapes upon entry into the winery. After being degreased, they undergo cold skin maceration with dry ice. After being pressed and selected, the flower must goes through a cold decantation process. Ferments with local yeasts in French oak barrels. Once alcoholic fermentation is complete, it rests with the fine lees in the same barrels for 12 months, with periodic batonnages. Before being bottled it is clarified and filtered.
