Bodegas Mauro was founded in 1980 by Mariano García as a way of paying homage to his father. The wines produced by Bodegas Mauro are characterized by being balanced, elegant and sensual, with great aptitude for aging. Known also for expressing the characteristics of the grape varieties used and the terroir in which they are inserted, mirroring the Winemaker's vision.

Bodegas Mauro was the García family's first winery in Valle del Duero, followed by San Román Bodegas y Viñedos, in 1997, in the Toro Denomination of Origin, and completed with Garmón Continental, an exclusive project in Ribera del Duero, started in 2014. three properties address the style of viticulture based on respect for the singularities of each territory, which constitute a particular winemaking philosophy.
