It's something like the democratization of luxury. As long as we understand luxury as the most careful creations from the best and oldest vineyards. A style crafted with great skill by Benjamín Romeo, owner of Bodegas Contador, who has put memorable vintages of Contador, La Cueva de Contador and some other brands on the market.
Predicator 2017 shows abundant red fruit, spicy notes, hints of the best woods and notable balsamic freshness. On this occasion, it seems designed to be closer to the house's greatest creations, displaying the depth and maturity that the harvest gives it. The warm end of the vegetative cycle is responsible for some slightly protruding alcohol particles, giving it a more Mediterranean than Atlantic character.
The label reproduces the peculiar hat of a gunslinger who ends his days as a preacher, a character played in one of his films by Clint Eastwood. The most pleasant of surprises ends with this story (the one with the bottle, not the one in the feature film). A wine, one can say that the price is not exaggerated, that is long, intense and tremendously expressive. Such a cinematic dress allows its author to describe it as a red film. A statement that every year is a little closer to being -everything- true.
