Description:

After the snowfall recorded on January 7, the winter and spring of 1997 were relatively warm and dry. Higher than normal temperatures caused the early appearance of shoots and berry formation in all vines was very good.
The weather during the harvest was extremely hot and as a result fermentation temperatures were high, making it necessary to make extra effort to prolong the fermentations. The high quality of the wines was evident from the beginning, due to the intensity of the must, the good integration of the wine brandy and the powerful and attractive aromas.
Tasting Note:
Purple-black; opaque. Dense, tight and rich nose with full fruit. Aromas of cedar and black wild fruits. An intense and full-bodied wine, with great delicacy and style. Great character and potential.
