Description
The exclusive Sierra Cantabria Mágico wine made by the Eguren Brothers , first released with the 2010 vintage. Mágico has qualities that make it very attractive and captivating because it's extraordinary of its kind. That's how the Eguren family explains the name of this great wine.
A blend mainly of Tempranillo and Garnacha, completed by a small percentage of the red and white grapes present in the plot. It's a jewel among the Eguren Brothers' creations, exclusive and sure to captivate when tasted.
It comes from a small 1.18-hectare plot in El Vardallo, in San Vicente de la Sonsierra. It's special in being a vineyard planted just after phylloxera in Rioja and Spain, dating back to the early 20th century , making it more than a century old.
Since 1870, over five generations, the Eguren family has devoted itself to growing vines and making and ageing the best wines of Rioja. Keeping knowledge and tradition alive, they've passed them from parents to children, always adapting them to technological advances and respect for the land and the vine.
