Description
Boekenhoutskloof Porcupine Ridge Syrah 2022 is a South African red from Swartland, known for its intense aromatic profile and excellent value for money.
An intense, fresh nose shows dark compote, with aromas of ripe plums, blackberry and exotic spice. The black fruit from the nose follows with blueberries, plums, fresh cherry and wild blackberry flavours. A balanced wine, with integrated acidity, prominent sweet spice and salty, smoky notes. Soft, velvety tannins add great balance to the mid-palate. The wine is medium-bodied with a plummy finish, notes of dark chocolate and sweet spice lingering on an ashy, iodine finish.
