Wine profile

This wine: 4 out of 5 — closer to «firm».
Tannins come from grape skins, seeds and oak. You feel them as a pleasant drying grip on gums and tongue — from silky and velvety to firm and chewy.
Wine profile

This wine: 4 out of 5 — closer to «crisp».
The freshness that makes your mouth water, like a squeeze of lemon. It gives a wine tension, length and ageing potential, and makes it great with food.

Description
Vallegre Colheita Tinto shows a balanced, expressive profile, standing out for its intense colour and striking concentration. On the nose it has a ripe, slightly austere character, with almost chemical notes combining with a clear presence of oak. On the palate it shows sweet-toned fruit, making for a smooth, easy-drinking wine. Nine months in French oak add structure and complexity. Versatile at the table, it goes perfectly with grilled food, meat — especially white meat — stews and mild cheeses. For the best experience, serve at 13–15ºC.
