Description
Filipa Pato & William Wouters Roleta Russa Rosé 2023 is a still rosé from a selected vintage made in Bairrada, entirely from the native Baga grape with a minimal-intervention philosophy.
Pale pink with delicate orange glints, this rosé shows remarkable elegance from the first contact. The nose combines citrus, especially grapefruit, fresh red fruit such as strawberry and raspberry, and subtle floral nuances adding freshness and complexity.
PalateOn the palate it's dry, with a fine, enveloping texture, supported by vibrant acidity and marked minerality, a faithful expression of the roughly 80-year-old vines planted on the clay-limestone soils of the Bairrada DOC. The finish is long, precise and harmonious, with a very versatile food-friendly profile.
Food pairingIdeal with shellfish, white meats, tomato-based dishes or simply as an aperitif. Serve between 12 and 14 ºC.
