Description
Filipa Pato Nossa Calcário Branco 2025 is an outstanding biodynamic white from Portugal's Bairrada region, made from Bical grown on vines around 25 years old in Óis do Bairro.
It is the result of a collaboration between Filipa Pato and her husband, aiming to reveal the full potential of Óis do Bairro's unique terroir, an area renowned since the 19th century for the excellence of its whites. Currently in conversion to biodynamic farming, this wine reflects a deep commitment to respecting the soil and nature.
Tasting notes: striking mineral intensity, dominated by flinty nuances woven with notes of fresh herbs and lightly smoky citrus. On the palate it is balanced and elegant, fresh, incisive and well structured, with a long finish that shows the care in the winemaking and the quality of the terroir.
Style: fresh, elegant and precise, with great finesse and clarity of expression.
