Description
100% Touriga Nacional. Almost translucent in appearance, this rosé shows its delicacy at first glance. On the nose it has a subtle, elegant aromatic profile, with fresh notes of raspberry, hibiscus, pink grapefruit and a herbal touch that adds complexity without weighing it down.
PalateOn the palate it stands out for vibrant acidity that brings energy and youth. Light and nimble in structure, it's direct and extremely appealing from the first sip to the persistent, refreshing finish. A rosé of great precision and refinement, ideal for sunny days or with light, fresh dishes.
The Wine AdvocateRP 91Reviewed by: Luis Gutiérrez
The salmon-coloured 2023 Manoella Rosé comes from the Quinta da Manoella estate, made solely from Touriga Nacional picked at 12.5% alcohol. It fermented and aged in stainless steel for six months. It seems a little closed and reductive but shows better on the palate, with a chalky, serious feel. It's light and dry. 30,598 bottles were produced. It was bottled in March 2024.
