Description
Made in the Douro from the rare, ancestral Tinto Cão grape, Quinta do Pessegueiro Tinto Cão 2022 is an unusual expression of the variety. Fermentation in lagar gives it extra density and depth, resulting in a red of assertive character and striking identity.
AromaThe nose shows ripe black fruit, with black plum and blackberries, plus notes of macerated berries that add complexity. Full, enveloping and well structured on the palate, with a juicy texture and excellent presence. The finish is tasty and long, with a light spicy touch that adds liveliness and elegance.
A limited-production wine combining tradition, intensity and distinction, showing a deeper, more concentrated side of Tinto Cão.
