Description

João Clara Reserva Tinto 2022 is an excellent premium wine made at the prestigious Quinta João Clara in Alcantarilha, in the Algarve. With winemaking consultancy from Joana Maçanita, this vintage stands out for its full-bodied, fruity, sophisticated profile, typical of the great Algarve reds.

Tasting Notes

An intense, deep violet-ruby, this wine has a striking aromatic profile of ripe black cherry, dark chocolate and delicate floral notes typical of Touriga Nacional. Hints of black pepper and elegant creamy, spicy nuances from barrel ageing enrich the whole.

On the palate it has great volume and excellent concentration, supported by a solid structure balanced by ripe, silky tannins. It ends long and persistent, leaving a pleasant sense of freshness and lively fruit.
