Monte do Zambujeiro Tinto 2022 scored 91 points from Luis Gutiérrez of Robert Parker's The Wine Advocate. In his tasting note, Gutiérrez describes the wine as very aromatic, expressive and floral, with a strong presence of red and black fruit. He adds that it is clean and modern, with a freshness that balances the ripeness typical of the Alentejo. On the palate it is juicy, with very fine tannins and a polished texture, making it very approachable and easy to enjoy from the outset. As for balance, the critic notes that despite alcohol often around 14.5%, the wine keeps remarkable balance without feeling heavy or overly warm. Gutiérrez often concludes that this is one of the best-value wines in the region, calling it an excellent introduction to the style of Quinta do Zambujeiro.
