Description
Hand-picked. Bunches hand-sorted. Destemmed then crushed. Fermentation in lagar with foot-treading and in stainless-steel vats with post-fermentation maceration. Aged in oak casks for 14 to 18 months. Several plots of old vines, some with more than 20 different grape varieties. Vines over 50 years old. A wine with good depth and aromatic complexity. Excellent integration of the barrel notes. Good structure, firm yet silky tannins. Very long. Garnet colour with good intensity and depth. Nose: complex and deep, recalling ripe red and black fruit wrapped in spicy notes that bring elegance. On the palate, soft tannins wrapped in fruit. Good retronasal aroma. Excellent structure. Very long finish.
