Description
Quinta de La Rosa Reserva Tinto 2023 (often labelled La Rosa Reserva) is a superior red wine made by the prestigious Quinta de La Rosa, in Pinhão, at the heart of the Douro Demarcated Region. This vintage keeps the producer's classic identity, focused on balance, freshness and food-friendliness.
Tasting Note
Intense and concentrated, it shows on the nose an expressive combination of ripe black fruit and wild berries, wrapped in delicate floral nuances. Ageing in French oak barrels adds complexity, with elegant hints of spice and cocoa.
PalateOn the palate it's structured, enveloping and very elegant. The tannins, firm but ripe and velvety, are beautifully balanced by lively, mineral acidity that clearly conveys the identity of the schist terroir. It finishes long, fresh and persistent, leaving a sense of balance and depth.
