Wine profile
Body
This wine: 4 out of 5 — closer to «full».
How heavy and full the wine feels in your mouth — from light like skimmed milk to rich like cream. It comes mainly from alcohol, extract and, in sweet wines, sugar.
Wine profile
Tannin
This wine: 4 out of 5 — closer to «firm».
Tannins come from grape skins, seeds and oak. You feel them as a pleasant drying grip on gums and tongue — from silky and velvety to firm and chewy.
Wine profile

This wine: 3 out of 5 — right in the middle.
The freshness that makes your mouth water, like a squeeze of lemon. It gives a wine tension, length and ageing potential, and makes it great with food.
Wine profile

Description
Quinta do Pessegueiro Barro Vermelho 2015 is a red wine from the Douro, made from 100% Touriga Nacional grown on orange clay soils. It is described as elegant, with floral and red-fruit aromas, and on tasting shows a juicy profile with firm tannins, balanced acidity and vibrant flavour.
Touriga Nacional from schist soil with plenty of orange clay. Restrained florals on the nose, forest berries and blueberries, with no easy exuberance and great elegance. Juicy, but with beautifully firm tannins and balanced acidity; very expressive, broad, vibrant and full of flavour.
