Description

Soalheiro Sauvignon Blanc Alvarinho is the result of Soalheiro's constant search to discover the region's full potential. After our success with Pinot Noir, we decided to explore what expressions of Sauvignon Blanc could grow in our region. This search produced a singular Sauvignon Blanc, different from its expressions in France or New Zealand. Sauvignon Blanc's excellent adaptation to the Minho makes it an interesting partner for Alvarinho, resulting in a blend where the former shows more on the nose and the latter helps round out the palate.

Soalheiro Sauvignon Blanc Alvarinho pairs perfectly with fish, seafood and white meat, as well as Asian and Mediterranean dishes. Sauvignon Blanc's unique primary flavours with Atlantic influence also make it a great partner for grilled vegetables such as asparagus or courgette, or more complex dishes such as vegetarian lasagne.
