Description
Clase Azul's super-premium aged tequila, presented in its instantly recognisable decanter. Made using traditional Mexican raw clay techniques before European glazing and hand-painted designs are added, it's said to represent two worlds coming together in one spirit.
Clase Azul's agaves grow in Los Altos de Jalisco, a region of reddish soil where altitude, minerals and climate give the agave unique properties.
To make the tequila, the agave goes through a long transformation:
During the jima, the plant's leaves are removed to reveal the heart, known as the piña. The piñas are cooked in masonry ovens and milled to extract the sugars released by cooking.
Fermentation with our proprietary yeast gives the elixir our exclusive profile, while its notes are shaped by double distillation in copper stills. This dedicated effort results in an exquisite tequila.
