Description
Fermented and aged in used wood, this Fernão Pires shows captivating aromatic complexity. On the nose, notes of ripe fruit (juicy pear, white plum and fresh green apple) are very well integrated with subtle ‘nuances’ of oak, which adds elegance without dominating. On the palate it has good volume and an enveloping texture, with a light richness balanced by lively, refreshing acidity. A harmonious white with a persistent, fresh finish, ideal with richer fish dishes or soft cheeses.
