Description
Monólogo Arinto is a single-varietal wine made from grapes from plot P24 at Quinta de Santa Teresa, whose vines are farmed using organic and sustainable practices.
It has an elegant aromatic profile, with citrus nuances and subtle minerality reflecting its granite soils. On the palate it's fresh and enveloping, with delicate hints of papaya and silica, supported by vibrant, well-defined acidity typical of Arinto. It stands out for its depth and mineral character, also showing the commitment to organic production.
So far, the 2024 vintage of Monólogo Arinto (A&D Wines) has begun to be recognised by critics, including:
90 Points (Público/Terroir): It received an excellent score from critic Pedro Garcias in the newspaper Público, who highlights its profile true to the grape and the granite terroir.
Organic Recognition: The wine is often cited in selections of high-quality organic wines, such as the "Finest Organic Wines".
Historically, AD Wines' Monólogo Arinto line has a solid record of awards confirming the consistency of plot P24:

Gold Medal: AWC Vienna for the 2015 vintage.
90 Points (Robert Parker - The Wine Advocate): Awarded to the 2017 vintage.
"Boa Escolha" seal: From Vinho Grandes Escolhas magazine.
