Description

This is a wine for ageing, made from 100% Encruzado. On the nose it stands out for its elegance, with notes of white fruit, citrus and a mineral touch very typical of the region's granite. Ageing in French oak barrels gives it subtle notes of vanilla and a creamy texture, with vibrant acidity that ensures longevity.

Teixuga Branco 2020 stands as one of the great whites of the Dão, combining elegance, structure and excellent capacity to evolve in bottle.

Clear and bright in appearance, with an appealing citrine-yellow hue. On the nose it shows great complexity, with aromas of white-fleshed fruit such as apricot and citrus touches, wrapped in delicate mineral and smoky notes and light hints of nuts such as hazelnut from the oak ageing.

On the palate it is full-bodied and broad, balanced by lively acidity that gives freshness and precision. The oak is very well integrated, contributing to a silky texture. It finishes long, persistent and elegant.
