Description
Vincent Girardin Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru "Morgeot" Tinto 2021 is a refined and less common expression of this famous Côte de Beaune appellation in Burgundy, best known for its whites. Made entirely from Pinot Noir, this Premier Cru red reflects the character of a challenging, cool year in the region.
Profile: A red of great elegance and freshness, marked by the energy and vibrancy of the 2021 vintage. The nose shows expressive notes of wild red fruit, with earthy nuances adding depth and complexity.
Palate: It stands out for its juicy texture and fine, polished tannins, supported by linear, very well-integrated acidity. The mineral component and the clay-limestone character of the terroir give a solid but balanced structure, making a fresh, precise and particularly food-friendly wine.
Terroir: From the Morgeot climat, specifically the Les Fairendes sector, on clay-limestone soils with gravel that give the wine structure, tension and definition.
