Description
Vincent Girardin Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru "Le Cailleret" 2023 Magnum (1,5 L) is a prestigious Burgundy jewel, ideal for big occasions thanks to its generous format. This exceptional white is made from 100% Chardonnay in "Le Cailleret", one of Chassagne-Montrachet's most sought-after, highest-quality climats.
Tasting Note
Pure and expressive on the nose, marked by minerality, with delicate flinty notes around aromas of fresh apricot, almond and citrus, especially lemon.
PalateOn the palate it's broad, generous and structured, combining volume and texture with remarkable liveliness. The mineral side gives tension and precision, balancing its richness and prolonging the freshness. It finishes long, complex and persistent, leaving an expressive mineral impression.
In Magnum (1.5 L), it benefits from slower development in bottle thanks to lower relative exposure to oxygen. This format favours longer, more harmonious cellar ageing, enhancing the development and complexity of this 2023 vintage.
