Description
Vincent Girardin Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru 2021 is a prestigious French white from Burgundy (Côte de Beaune), made exclusively from Chardonnay. Made under winemaker Eric Germain, this Grand Cru comes from old vines around 45 to 50 years old on the iconic hill of Corton.
Broad, dense and deeply complex, this wine combines an unctuous, enveloping texture with vibrant acidity that gives balance and freshness.
AromaOn the nose it stands out for its aromatic intensity, with candied citrus, ripe pear and delicate white flowers, plus expressive notes of flint, struck match and a distinctive saline minerality. Bottle age adds complexity, with subtle nuances of kerosene and sweet spice.
PalateOn the palate it's silky, concentrated and very broad, with an elegant texture and well-defined structure. The finish is long and persistent, marked by the chalky minerality characteristic of the Corton-Charlemagne terroir.
