Alphonse Mellot Sancerre Blanc Les Romains 2022 is a prestigious 100% Sauvignon Blanc from the Loire Valley, France. It's widely recognised for its deep minerality and elegance, reflecting the unique flint and clay soils where the vines (first planted in 1951) are grown.
This 100% Sauvignon white opens on the nose with delicate notes of white flowers, walnut oil and chalk, with just a touch of the sea; it has a pale yellow robe with emerald-green glints and a voluptuous palate blending quince, white currant and grapefruit.
