Description
Domaine Bohrmann Bourgogne Côte d'Or "Les Belles Gouttes" Branco 2021 is a great-value white from Burgundy's prestigious region, France. Made entirely from Chardonnay, it comes from grapes grown on lower slopes bordering the renowned communes of Meursault and Puligny-Montrachet.
The project is led by Sofie Bohrmann and winemaker Dimitri Blanc, who manage about 12 hectares of vineyards with a focus on precision viticulture and authentic expression of terroir.
Domaine Bohrmann Bourgogne Côte d'Or "Les Belles Gouttes" Branco 2021 authentically expresses the character of the challenging but elegant 2021 Burgundy vintage, marked by vibrant freshness, high aromatic precision and remarkable fruit purity.
AromaOn the nose, fresh citrus aromas stand out, with lemon, lime and grapefruit taking the lead. The fruit is complemented by delicate hints of green apple and subtle white-flower nuances that add elegance and finesse.
Time in French and Austrian oak barrels adds discreet touches of vanilla and light toasty notes, perfectly integrated into the wine's structure. On tasting, a distinct minerality also stands out, evoking chalk and wet stone, reinforcing the wine's Burgundian identity and extending the freshness on the finish.
