Description
Rocca delle Macìe Cotis Primitivo di Manduria 2019 is a top-class Italian red from Puglia. It's part of a special project called PietraPura, born from a collaboration between the prestigious Tuscan winery Rocca delle Macìe (run by the Zingarelli family) and local Salento growers. "Cotis" is the top of this range, made from very old vines in the heart of Manduria.
This dense red is full-bodied and multi-layered on the palate. With its lively fruit acidity, Cotis Primitivo di Manduria is exceptionally fresh and lively. On the finish, this age-worthy red from Puglia impresses with its considerable length, with notes of plum and morello cherry once again.
