Vallegre Special Reserve Old Vines 2019

Vallegre Reserva Especial Vinhas Velhas 2019 is a wine of great character and depth, remaining faithful to the profile of previous harvests. With more than two dozen grape varieties mixed and a prolonged 22-month ageing in barrels, it reveals an austere and engaging personality.

The aroma stands out for its balsamic and chemical side, with notes of Indian ink, spices and very ripe black fruits, complemented by subtle nuances of dried fruits. The imposing structure is confirmed in the mouth, where the full-bodied texture and grainy tannin give great thickness and complexity. The presence of dark chocolate adds depth and persists in a long and promising finish.
